Joe’s Idiosyncrasies: The Hunger Games

With a belly as big as the one Joe sports, it’s only natural that he has to stuff it with all manner of junk every few minutes, pastries being the filler of choice. Murr displays a comparable appetite, albeit one that rivals that of Joseph in frequency but nowhere close in capacity.

This perhaps attributable to the fact that save for alleviating the pangs of hunger, the two are eating away for two completely different reasons: Joe merely eats to keep up with the demands of his massive industrial gut while Murr does it for the good of his ‘ferrety’ dental health.

Notable Episodes

  1. Impractical Jokers Season 5, Episode 16 Laundry Day
Joe “retrieves” a pizza slice from a guy walking into the arena just after shooting away his wardrobe to a hungry football crowd in this episode’s punishment. Clearly, he had to make a swift reparation for losing his precious lavender glow of love.
  2. Impractical Jokers Season 6, Episode 01 Swim Shady
While working as a receptionist, Joe digs through the garbage can and eats while making some funny sounds a sandwich that Sal had disposed off earlier on. It’s from here that Joe goes to pull what may be considered the most incredible manoeuvre (barring Q’s Man on Wire stunt) in the history of the show: he falls from a medicine ball he was sitting on, knocking down the garbage can which lets out Sal’s sandwich which he then goes on to eat again.
  3. Impractical Jokers Season 6, Episode 03 The Parent Trap
Joe eats one dozen worth of cannolis in one go.
  4. Impractical Jokers Season 6, Episode 04 Catastrophe
Joe keeps drinking coconut milk directly from the bottle while working as a trainee in Organic Avenue.
